Through the course of my carreer I have been involved in a wide array of projects that include surface, skeleton, structural, scope, and strategy design. My most recent accomplishments with HP lead to the design and evolution of HP Photosmart Essential. In this role I have applied a culmination of skills I have developed from working on various types of projects within HP and with other leading IT companies including Microsoft, Peoplesoft and Experian. My portfolio reflects a balance of skills in design and user experience research to create informed design.
I believe that designing is more than innovation. Designing is an art in applying and adhering to a process. My approach to design is reflective, and takes into account the larger ecological, contextual aspects of "the wild".
I find joy in knowing that the tools I build play a role in creating a delightful and engaging experience. My approach to design has been best captured by Interaction Design Guru Jesse James Garrett as described in the following quote.
